In our last post, we talked about virgin hair and the strict standards that must be met to call hair “virgin”. Besides the strict standards that must be met to be considered virgin hair, there are also very important steps that must be followed to properly care for virgin hair, and also for Indian Remy hair, which we’ll discuss below.
No matter which type of virgin hair (Brazilian, Malaysian, Peruvian, Eurasian, Cambodian, Mongolian, Russian Blonde and Russian Black) you’re caring for, it’s possible to apply heat and color for a beautiful, customized look. However, we do strongly recommend seeking the services of a professional for hair coloring, and we urge you to pay close attention to all other care instructions for your virgin hair. After coloring and styling, the virgin hair also needs a little extra attention and TLC.
We recommend the following virgin hair care guide:
- Shampooing every two weeks
- Co-washing (lathering and rinsing with conditioner) every one to two weeks
- Adding Moroccan Argan Oil to help moisturize the hair
- Never forget to seal your wefts!
